The Amplifier Research 10U1000 is a robust and versatile solid-state RF amplifier designed specifically for applications demanding instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and exceptional linearity. Engineered for optimal performance, this air-cooled unit presents a sleek and modern cabinet suitable for benchtop usage, while also offering the flexibility for rack mounting once the cabinet is removed.

Control over the output level is simplified with the integrated front panel gain control, enabling operators to adjust the desired output efficiently. The 10U1000 incorporates an advanced RF input leveling circuit that safeguards against RF input overdrive, ensuring stable operation by modulating the RF input level to the amplifier's first stage whenever the RF input exceeds 0dBm.

When paired with a sweep generator, the 10U1000 consistently delivers a minimum of 10 watts of RF power, making it ideal for a variety of testing and measurement scenarios. Furthermore, all amplifier control functions and status indicators can be accessed remotely via an optional Remotes Package. This package supports multiple interfaces including GPIB/IEEE-488 format, RS-232 hardwired connections, fiber optic, USB, and Ethernet.

The bus interface connector is conveniently located on the back panel, complemented by a Local/Remote switch on the front, providing seamless control between local and remote operations. The Remotes Package also features an integral safety interlock circuit designed for use with external safety switch interlocks, ensuring that the highest levels of safety are maintained during operation. A jumper plug is included for scenarios where interlock functionality is not necessary.
