The menu-driven interface, navigated through soft keys, includes vital indicators such as power on, warm-up, standby, operate, faults, excess reflected power warnings, and remote operation status. Key features encompass a built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface, 0 dBm input, gain control, VSWR protection, RF output sample ports, auto sleep functions, and critical monitoring of TWT helix current, cathode voltage, collector voltage, heater current, heater voltage, baseplate temperature, and cabinet temperature. Its modular design further enhances repair ease, complemented by a switching mode power supply that significantly reduces weight.
