Equipped with comprehensive software capabilities, the MR50040 allows for easy test sequence generation and data logging, eliminating the need for complex source code. Connectivity features are abundant, including USB, GPIB, and LXI compliant LAN interfaces, as well as analog connections for remote control and programming, ensuring versatility in any setup.
For enhanced functionality, the optional SAS application software enables users to simulate I-V curves for various arrays under diverse irradiance conditions while effectively measuring and validating the performance of inverter MPPT algorithms. The galvanically isolated analog interface facilitates monitoring of voltage, current, and regulation modes (constant voltage or constant current), alongside fault condition indicators. Moreover, external voltage signals or resistors can be utilized to control the device from zero to full scale, with selectable ranges of 0 to 5 V / 5 kΩ or 0 to 10 V / 10 kΩ.
