- Squat Design: Engineered for enhanced stability on the bench, this design allows for effortless handling, especially in confined spaces like fume hoods.
- Self-Draining Base: An innovative feature that prevents water accumulation during washing in automatic lab machines, effectively eliminating spill re-wetting and contamination concerns.
- Highly Visible Graduations: Clear molded blue over-printed graduations ensure measurements are always easy to read.
- Durable Material: Constructed from high clarity polypropylene, these cylinders are safe, unbreakable, and resistant to a variety of chemicals and temperatures.
- Anti-Suction Base: Designed to function seamlessly on wet surfaces without the hassle of suction problems.
- Space-Saving Storage: The low form cylinder design maximizes storage efficiency, making it ideal for laboratories with limited overhead space.
The squat design provides greater stability when used on benches compared to traditional glass or plastic cylinders, significantly reducing the risk of spills and accidents. With molded graduations clearly marked in attractive Azlon blue ink, handling and measuring large volumes becomes a streamlined process. The unique self-draining base allows waste-water to easily escape when inverted, optimizing cleaning procedures in dishwashers—an industry-first feature.

*The 4 Liter plastic cylinder features a translucent polypropylene construction and is designed with mold graduations in blue print at 50mL increments with 500mL graduation lines around its circumference. It stands under 24 inches tall, with a stable octagonal base measuring 8 inches in diameter. The base easily unscrews for simple cleaning and efficient storage, making it ideal for measuring large volumes, mixing, and preparing solutions and buffers. Complies with ISO 6706 and US FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food and beverage use. The cylinder is also autoclavable, with note that repeated autoclaving may affect measurement accuracy.
