EA Elektro-Automatik ELR9250-140 DC Electronic Load

The EA Elektro-Automatik ELR9250-140 is a highly versatile electronic DC load, engineered for optimal energy recovery and ideal for a wide array of applications. This advanced device features four standard regulation modes: Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), Constant Power (CP), and Constant Resistance (CR), enabling seamless integration into various testing scenarios.

Equipped with an FPGA-based control circuit, the ELR9250-140 offers enhanced functionalities, including a built-in function generator and a table-based regulation circuit to accurately simulate non-linear internal resistances. The standout energy recovery capability converts supplied DC energy into a synchronous sine current, which is then fed back into the local grid, significantly reducing heat dissipation and minimizing energy costs.

The device features a large color TFT touch panel, setting it apart with an intuitive user interface for manual operation. The US version operates on a two- or three-phase supply of 208 V (L-L), while the EU variant requires one to three phases with 230 V (L-N). A significant advantage is the FPGA-based, digital function and arbitrary generator that allows users to create customizable load profiles, generating sine, square, sawtooth, and ramp functions in any desired sequence.

Furthermore, with a freely programmable digital value table consisting of 3276 points, this electronic load can replicate non-linear internal resistances like those found in batteries or LED chains. The ELR9250-140 also features a dedicated battery test mode for evaluating a variety of battery types through constant current or constant resistance discharging.
