The EA Elektro-Automatik PSB9060-360 is an advanced microprocessor-controlled bi-directional power supply designed to deliver exceptional performance in both power supply (source) and electronic load (sink) modes with energy recovery features. This innovative device operates in a two-quadrant mode by default, making it ideal for a wide range of testing and application scenarios.
Equipped with an internal electronic load, the PSB9060-360 excels in high voltage dynamics by effectively discharging any unavoidable capacitance present at the DC terminal. The device integrates active Power Factor Correction (PFC) technology, allowing it to operate seamlessly on both two-phase and three-phase power supplies, with voltage ratings ranging from 380 V to 480 V AC. Notably, 208 V AC models are also available, albeit at a reduced power level of 50%.
Featuring a flexible autoranging bidirectional power stage, the PSB9060-360 accommodates higher output voltages at lower currents and vice versa, while always adhering to the maximum rated output power. This adaptability extends to sink mode operation as well. Users can easily adjust the power set values, making the device versatile for various applications requiring both sourcing and sinking of power.
The power supply is equipped with a user-friendly color TFT touch screen, allowing for intuitive control over all device functions with a simple finger tap. Set values for voltage, current, power, or resistance can be adjusted using rotary knobs or can be directly input through a numeric pad, ensuring ease of use and flexibility in operation.
