ETS Lindgren 4825-2 LISN: Advanced Conducted Emissions Testing Solution
The ETS Lindgren 4825-2 LISN is a state-of-the-art two-line low-pass filter network specifically engineered for conducted emissions measurements. Designed to be placed between the power mains and equipment under test (EUT), this unit stabilizes line impedance, offers a 50 ohm RF connection, and effectively eliminates unwanted RF signals from the line supply, ensuring accurate testing results.
Key Features and Specifications
Earth Line Choke
The front panel features a safety ground isolation choke selector switch that allows users to easily switch the 1.6 microhenry earth line choke "IN" or "OUT" of the safety ground circuit. When in the "IN" position, the device isolates the EUT from RF ground while maintaining a secure safety ground, enhancing measurement accuracy.
Artificial Hand Circuit
Included is an Artificial Hand circuit that conforms to EN 55014 and BS 800 standards, facilitating the testing of hand-held devices that lack a connection to protective earth ground, thus broadening the range of applications for this LISN.
High Pass Filter
Each monitor port is equipped with a high pass filter, designed to prevent potential overload to the analyzer. This innovative feature eliminates the need for correction factors in measurements, translating to a more straightforward testing process.
Overcurrent Protection
For optimal protection of test equipment, the ETS Lindgren 4825-2 LISN comes with a switchable, two-pole circuit breaker mounted on the rear panel. This breaker is rated at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz with a capacity of 25 amperes, providing excellent overcurrent safety.
EUT Power Adapter Boxes
The EUT connects to the LISN through an interchangeable power adapter conveniently mounted on the front panel. This feature allows users testing globally distributed products to easily switch between various receptacle types; please specify the required receptacle types when ordering. The standard unit comes with one adapter box featuring a single receptacle type.
Compliance Ready
This LISN unit complies with IEC 1010 standards, ensuring that it meets industry requirements for safety and performance, making it an essential tool for professionals in the field of conducted emissions testing.
