Process Steps
- Laboratory room air enters the Isola workstation.
- The air contaminants mix with the laboratory air.
- Contaminated air is filtered through either gas-phase carbon filtration or mechanical filtration.
- Constant monitoring of air for filter breakthrough, temperature, and humidity occurs.
- Filtered air passes through a safety filtration zone before circulating back to the laboratory environment.
