Keithley 2260B-80-13 Power Supply

Programmable Dual Channel DC Power Supply - Up To 80V, 13.5A, 360W

The Keithley 2260B-80-13 Programmable DC Power Supply offers high-performance constant power outputs, making it ideal for a wide range of applications such as research, design, and quality control. With its ability to deliver output voltages up to 80V and current up to 13.5A, this versatile unit is designed to meet the demanding needs of production testing.

In cases where higher voltage is required, multiple Keithley 2260B-80-13 units can be connected in series to achieve incredible voltage outputs of up to 160V. For scenarios needing added current, connecting up to three units in parallel can provide a combined current output of up to 216A. This master-slave configuration allows precise control over multiple units, displaying total voltage and current, thus enabling power delivery of up to 2160W for robust high-power applications.

To protect sensitive devices from potential damage caused by inrush currents, the Keithley 2260B-80-13 comes with programmable rise and fall time controls. Users can limit the voltage or current rise time, significantly enhancing device safety during testing. When operating in constant current control, the rise time can be adjusted from as low as 0.01A/s to a maximum of 72A/s, providing flexibility for different testing conditions.

This power supply simulates real-world battery responses through its programmable internal resistance, allowing tests under conditions that closely mimic actual device behavior. It can emulate devices such as lead-acid batteries with internal resistance up to 5.9Ω, ensuring accurate test results for battery-dependent applications. Additionally, the Keithley 2260B-80-13 features an internal test sequence mode, enabling the output of custom voltage waveforms over predetermined time intervals, facilitating thorough performance analyses of devices under various voltage levels.

The Keithley 2260B-80-13 also prioritizes compatibility and integration within automated test systems. With interface options including USB, LAN, and an optional GPIB interface, this power supply is suited for seamless integration into existing testing setups. Furthermore, its rapid discharge capabilities, alongside a swift (1ms) transient recovery time to load changes, help streamline critical test procedures.
