KEYSIGHT / AGILENT B1525A High Voltage Semiconductor PGU
The Keysight B1525A High Voltage Semiconductor Pulse Generator Unit (PGU) is an advanced plug-in module designed specifically for the B1500A semiconductor device analyzer. This cutting-edge device excels in providing an efficient pulsed IV parametric test solution, capable of delivering impressive performance with up to 40 volts and 400 milliamperes of output. It is particularly well-suited for evaluating middle-range power devices, including Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and High Electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT) technologies used in radio frequency (RF) applications.
One of the standout features of the B1525A is its remarkable output-voltage monitor capability, which supports a rapid sampling interval of just 5 microseconds. This allows for exceptional accuracy in measurements, as the device calculates the output current based on the known output impedance of the module, resulting in reliable and precise data collection.
Engineered to meet demanding applications, the B1525A HV-SPGU module offers best-in-class pulse generation capabilities. It boasts high accuracy in voltage forcing among semiconductor test pulse generators, with an arbitrary waveform generation setting resolution of 10 nanoseconds. This design philosophy ensures versatility and enhances the scope of application coverage for users.
Featuring two independent channels, the B1525A allows for seamless three-terminal device evaluations using just one module, eliminating the need for external equipment and complex cabling setups. To streamline the process of pulsed IV measurements, EasyEXPERT provides a comprehensive library of application tests tailored for the HV-SPGU module. Among these is a basic application test that enables users to specify single (spot) pulsed measurements across two HV-SPGU channels.
