The Keysight N6701C Low-Profile Modular Power System (MPS) is engineered to meet the diverse demands of test system integration. With its compact 1U rack design, this multiple-output programmable DC power supply and electronic load system enable superior flexibility, allowing test engineers to optimize both performance and cost-effectiveness tailored to their specific requirements.
Featuring the capability to mix and match from over 30 different DC power modules, the N6701C can be configured to support 1 to 4-channel DC power systems, making it ideal for complex testing scenarios. This versatility grants engineers the choice to invest in high-performance outputs where precision and speed are paramount, or to select basic performance options for fundamental DC power needs and electronic load applications.
Equipped with standard interfaces including GPIB, USB 2.0, and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet LAN, the N6701C simplifies integration into automated test equipment (ATE) systems. Each module is designed with built-in measurement capabilities for voltage and current, streamlining system design and wiring. Users can also achieve individual control over each DC power module or electronic load, facilitating turn-on or turn-off sequences with programmable delays.
For applications necessitating the coordination of more than four DC power or electronic load modules, the N6701C allows for output sequencing across multiple mainframes. When interconnected through the rear panel I/O ports, synchronization signals can be transmitted between mainframes to ensure uniform output sequences across the system.
With a universal input range of 100-240 Vac and compatibility with 50/60/400 Hz power sources, the N6701C system eliminates the need for manual adjustments or fuses when switching between voltage standards, offering the added benefit of power factor correction.
