The Air Science® Multiplex™ Filtration System is engineered with a robust mechanical design that features a pre-filter, a main filter, and an optional safety filter, tailored specifically to meet the demands of various applications. This innovative design prioritizes safety, convenience, and efficiency in chemical handling.

Advanced Carbon Filtration
The carbon filtration method employs enhanced activated carbon granules derived from premium natural materials, surpassing traditional wood sources. This specialized carbon formulation is expertly treated to achieve optimal porosity and surface area, allowing for effective interaction with a broad spectrum of aerosolized chemicals.
Multiplexing Capabilities
With the Multiplex option, you can configure multiple filtration types to tackle various applications simultaneously. This adaptability facilitates the capture of acids, bases, and particulates such as biological aerosols when paired with HEPA or ULPA filters, enhancing the system's versatility.
Optimized Carbon Filter Design
The self-contained carbon filter assembly is specifically sized to the corresponding model, ensuring optimized airflow across 100% of the filter surface area for maximum efficiency, extended filter life, and enhanced safety for users.
Note: For models P5-48, EDU-M-60, and FLOW-48, two filters are required.
Health Warning
Failure to regularly check chemical handling protocols and to replace filters as needed may lead to hazardous vapors being recirculated into the air.

- ACR: Effective against iodine and methyl iodide vapors, particularly in iodination reactions involving low-level radioactive iodine.
- ACM: Targets mercury vapors for enhanced safety.
- AMM: Efficiently removes vapors from dilute ammonia solutions and low molecular weight amines.
- FOR: Oxidizes formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde fumes, commonly employed in pathology labs.
