Equipped with a color TFT touchscreen, the IB-4-1000-250-200 offers an intuitive, menu-driven interface for easy navigation and control of system settings. Users can effortlessly set and monitor voltage, current, power, and internal resistance values directly through the touchscreen. The system features programmable voltage and current ramps that can be stored for repeated use, enhancing testing flexibility. Additionally, it incorporates under voltage limit settings to prevent deep discharge, ensuring the longevity of battery packs. Comprehensive event logs capture a history of system actions, warnings, and faults for increased operational oversight.

This versatile platform is perfect for various testing needs throughout the product life cycle, including battery simulation, battery testing (charge/discharge), DC motor testing, electric powertrain testing, fuel cell load testing, as well as solar panel testing. The IB-4-1000-250-200 operates in a single-channel configuration, allowing power to flow in either direction. It features a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) that establishes a remote connection between the i-BEAM and a Device Under Test (DUT) within a test cell. The PDU comes in a free-standing cabinet and is equipped with shutdown and reset controls, a voltmeter, a status light tower, and a door contact mechanism that automatically shuts down the system if the cabinet door is opened.
