The Spectrafuge 24D Microcentrifuge is designed with cutting-edge features to enhance laboratory efficiency and sample integrity. Its innovative rotor design provides straightforward access to sample tubes, allowing for quick loading and unloading without the hassle.
Equipped with a high-performance digital microprocessor, the Spectrafuge 24D ensures stable and precise control over its operations. Users can easily select parameters using two intuitive “smart” knobs, with values clearly displayed on large LED screens. Choose between setting the speed in either rpm or g-force, and personalize the run—whether it’s timed, continuous, or momentarily activated.
This microcentrifuge operates at a maximum RCF of 16,300 x g, and speed ranges from 500 to 13,300 rpm, accommodating various analytical protocols. Its unique multi-flow air cooling system facilitates efficient airflow through the equipment to maintain optimal temperatures, ensuring samples remain close to ambient conditions even during prolonged usage.
For applications demanding lower temperatures, the Spectrafuge 24D can be utilized in a cold room without compromising performance. Additionally, an optional StripSpin™ adapter is available, enhancing versatility by allowing the centrifugation of 0.2 mL tubes and strips.
