The Megger MTDR300 is a state-of-the-art 3-phase time domain reflectometer (TDR) specifically engineered to facilitate rapid, precise, and safe prelocation of cable faults within electrical networks. It features a user-friendly interface operated through a single jog dial coupled with an intuitive menu system. This design is complemented by a large color display that enhances operator comfort and ensures quick, accurate fault detection.
This versatile instrument can be powered by its internal rechargeable battery or connected to a main power supply, providing flexibility for both indoor and outdoor applications. Encased in a rugged, field-proven housing, the MTDR300 is well-suited for challenging environments, ensuring durability and reliability in the field.
To maximize its functionality, the Megger MTDR300 can be paired with an impulse generator (thumper) and arc reflection filter, enabling multiple high voltage fault prelocation methods. Each unit comes with the CAS-1 stand-alone software package, which allows users to download and upload saved traces for comprehensive future analysis. This software also serves as an excellent training resource, encompassing all the features of the MTDR itself.
